Last night the Liberal Democrats pulled off another sensational council by-election victory, continuing the strong showing since the election.
Yesterday it was the turn of James Gibson-Watts who gained his seat from the Conservatives.
The seat was the former council seat of Brecon and Radnorshire’s new Conservative MP. The Lib Dems came from absolutely nowhere to win this one.
The seat sits on the Powys / Herefordshire Border and is a very rural seat like many parts of Ludlow Constituency.
The #LibDemFightback continues.
Geraldine Locke , Liberal Democrat wins by-election with 1189 votes securing 42.96% of the vote, pushing the Conservatives into second.
She took the seat that Tanya Mathias resigned after she beat Vincent Cable in the General Election.
So far, since the General Election the Lib Dems have done well in Council by-elections.
